Viewers open drawers to reveal miniature landscapes complete with soundtracks telling a sea story from different points of view. While high resolution film projections on the desk's surface slowly shift and transform, the audience "mixes" the sound tracks by opening different drawers. The interactive installation explores the theme of discovery in the context of the quincentennial year and is part of Cinematheque's "Independent Light" exhibition, 1992.

The viewers experience falls halfway between the passivity of watching a film and the physicality of interacting with an object. The audio mix ranges from silence to an overlay of seven sound tracks when all drawers are open.
