A public art project built on a pristine but unused railroad track near the Marin Civic Center. Visible from highway 101, the project is designed to inspire a dialog about the possibility of resurrecting rail travel in Marin and Sonoma counties. A collaboration with Gavin and artists Kurt Keifer and Nina Ackerberg commissioned by Public Artworks, 1991.

The faux tracks are built out of machined fiberboard. The installation stays up for four months.
